“A few days after retreat, a parent whose daughter had come to retreat for the first time came in to tell us what her daughter had said to her. She had tears in her eyes as she told us "My daughter told me when she got home that her time during the retreat was the closest she's ever felt with God." She said it impacter her deeply and she's excited to be part of a youth group now. The mother was very grateful for the environment and relationships that her daughter experienced there.
We had several students cite the worship time we had around the big campfire as a significant event in their relationships with God, and casting into the fire the paper with their personal struggles, darkness, and heavy burdens was a very meaningful event.”
