Volunteers are important!
We are grateful for the volunteers who help throughout the year. Volunteers are important in the upkeep of the camp and to help us keep our costs down. Be sure to check out below for some of the areas you can volunteer. Please pray about it and if you feel led to offer your time and talent follow the link below to the volunteer form. We would love to hear from you.
INDIVIDUAL
Kitchen: Dish washing, Kitchen Assistant, cleaning, benefit suppers, fundraisers
Maintenance: Wood cutting & splitting, painting, mowing and grounds work, specialized areas such as electrical, plumbing, vehicle repairs & upkeep.
Program: Horse Boarding, climbing wall belayers, challenge course/zip line/giant swing facilitators, program/activity help, housekeeping, worship leaders, lifeguarding, teaching a variety of activities.
Office: Promotional Social Media content, marketing, brochure folding, computer skills.
Summer PRAYER PARTNERS
We value prayer here at Tel Hai Camp & Retreat. Because without God none of what we do is possible. During the business of summer there are several opportunities for prayer. Our summer staff could use your prayers.
Every summer we look to match each of our 15-20 summer staff with a prayer partner who will pray for them throughout the summer and encourage them with notes or gifts. This is a great way to support those who serve the campers all summer-long.
To be a Summer Prayer Partner. Click this button. Input your information and select “Programs”. Then check the box for “Summer Staff Prayer Partner”. You can then submit the form. Or if you would like look through and see if there are other areas you would feel led to volunteer as well.
Service Days
There are several opportunities throughout the year for groups to arrange their own Service Days and Retreats. To help with various projects around our grounds. Please contact us for our current project needs.
We host a work day every spring to get the camp ready for summer. Volunteers participate in mulching, cleaning up flowerbeds, cutting firewood, and other projects. Check out our page about our Spring Work Day
