The 5K (3.1 mile) race is a cross-country type race that will take you through our beautiful camp and around our lake. It has a mixture of paved, gravel, and grassy paths. It is mostly level ground though there are one or two small hills.

The 1 mile Children's Fun Run is a mile run on the main grounds of the camp. This race will be for children 12 years old and under. Mom's and Dad's are invited to run along side their child at no charge.

Costs:  5k Race is $15 before 11/10/07 and $20 after 11/10/07.  Fun Run - $8 per child

Times:  The Fun Run will begin at 9:15 a.m., the 5k race will begin at 9:30a.m.  Registration and race packet pick-up will begin at 8:15 a.m.  at the camp.

Sponsored by: The race is sponsored by area businesses.

Awards:  All child participants who finish the Fun Run will receive a Participant's Ribbon. First place trophies to the overall female and male runners of the 5K race and medals to the top three in each age group.

Age Groups:  Both women & men 11 & under,12-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & up. Men's Clydesdale Division (200+lbs) and Women's Athena Division (150+ lbs).

Course Records:  The top overall times set so far for this course is 15:53 Coulby Dunn in 2000 (men's) and 19:25 by Terri Cook in 1999 (women's)


T-shirts will be given to all pre-registered runners and while they last on race day. Refreshments and awards will start after the 5K Race is completed.
