1 Mile Results - 2011

The 5K (3.1 mile) race is a cross-country type race that will take you through our beautiful camp and around our lake. It has a mixture of paved, gravel, and grassy paths. It is mostly level ground though there are one or two small hills.

The 1 mile Children's Fun Run is a mile run on the main grounds of the camp. This race will be for children 12 years old and under. Mom's and Dad's are invited to run along side their child at no charge.

2011 Turkey Bowl 5K Race Registration Form

Costs:  5k Race is $16.00 before 11/10/2011 and $22.00 after 11/10/2011. Fun run is $8.00 per child.

Times:  The Fun Run will begin on November 24, 2011 at 9:10 a.m., the 5k race will begin at 9:35a.m.  Registration and race packet pick-up will begin on 11/24/2011 at 8:00 a.m.  at the camp.

Awards:  All child participants who finish the Fun Run will receive a Participant's Ribbon. First place trophies to the overall female and male runners of the 5K race and medals to the top three in each age group.

Age Groups:  Both women & men 11&Under, 12-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 and up.

Course Records:  New course in 2010. The top overall records for the 2010 course were 16:30 by James Snyder (men’s) and 20:32 by Samantha Bingaman (women’s).

T-shirts guaranteed to runners registering by 11/10/2011 and while they last on race day.
