Canoeing Class
The primary objective for this course is to teach basic to intermediate skills, including safety, terminology, proper canoe usage, and paddle strokes for lake and river canoeing. Each weekly session will include instruction and practice time, as well as evaluation of skills.  All equipment is provided (canoes, paddles and life jackets)  Instruction by Bruce Gregory, Red Cross training in canoeing and lifeguarding with over 20 years of experience.  Certificate of Completion is presented upon successful completion of the course, which includes faithful attendance and evidence of growth in skills.     Maximum class size is 12 persons.

Ceramics Class
The Home Schooler's Ceramics Class will include weekly sessions about 1.5 hours in length and include 4-5 projects throughout the course.  All ceramic supplies provided.  Children in 4th grade and under must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.  Other parents are welcome to help out.  Maximum class size is 12 persons.

Ages:  For Home Schoolers aged 7 through high school.

Dates:  Tuesdays beginning October 7, 2008 and running for 6 weeks.  Time is 2:30 - 4:00 p.m.

Costs:  $40.00 per child for entire course.

Location:  Tel Hai Camp Chestnut Meeting Room.

Climbing Class
Each weekly session of Home Schooler's Climbing Class will include stretches and warm ups, group exercises and activities with plenty of tips and tricks on the climbing wall.  All equipment is provided (harnesses, ropes, helmets, hardware and safety gear) and is regularly inspected and safe for climbers use.  Instruction by Bruce Gregory with certified assistants who train with regular refresher sessions.   Maximum class size is 12 persons.

Dates:  Tuesdays beginning October 2, 2007 and running for 6 weeks.  Times are from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Costs:  $40.00 per child for entire course.

Location:  Tel Hai Camp Gymnasium Indoor Climbing Wall.
