Position Opening: Facilities Director - Full-time
Tel Hai Camp & Retreat is now accepting applications for a Full-time Facilities Director. This is a full-time position which requires residency on the grounds year round for the employer’s convenience.
Responsibilities: General maintenance work, plumbing, small repairs, vehicle maintenance, building maintenance, grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, etc., overseeing special work projects and work teams, opening and closing facilities for groups, snow removal, cutting firewood, purchasing supplies, and helping out as needed in kitchen or other areas. Additionally it is expected that the Facilities Director be a detailed person who will give special attention to the overall appearance of the grounds as well as ensuring certain buildings are prepared when guests arrive.
Qualifications: Prior maintenance experience is required. We are seeking strong experience in plumbing and some experience in electrical and carpentry. Experience also with light vehicle maintenance will be helpful. Applicant should be able to operate tractors, back hoe, lawn mowers, power tools, and other maintenance equipment. Knowledge of general maintenance of wells, septic, and treatment systems is important.

Archery Instructor (1) - 16 yrs. or older, experience with archery, safety, and instructing
Boating Instructor/Lifeguard (1) - 16 yrs. or older, Lifeguard and CPR certifications, waterfront experience
Ceramics Instructor (1) - 18 yrs. or older, experience helpful
Challenge Course Instructor (1) - 16 yrs. or older, experience with courses, safety, and instructing
Horse Wranglers (2) - 18 yrs. or older, experience with horses and instructing
Lead Cook (1) - 21 yrs. or older, leadership experience, spiritual maturity, self-disicpline
Lifeguards (2) - 16 yrs. or older, certification in Lifeguarding and CPR required
Prep Cook (7) - 15 yrs. or older, experience helpful but not required
